Gelding Assistance Program

Last Updated by Horse+ on April 5, 2013  •

Gelding a stallion can be very costly and many horse owners find themselves unable to pay to have their stallion gelded, due to the high cost of the surgery. The stallion often begins breeding mares, and many of his offspring end up across the boarders in a slaughterhouse because nobody really wanted them. We cover $125 of the cost and the owner of the stallion makes up the difference of the cost.

Apply for Help:  If you need, or know of someone that has a horse that needs, assistance through the Gelding Assistance Program, please contact us.  We financially assist with the costs of the gelding operation through a licensed vet.  The funds are provided directly to the veterinarian.  For more information and to apply, please contact us. Click here.
